Step #3: High School Placement Test (HSPT)

The High School Placement Test is required for all 8th graders applying to a Catholic high school.  The test fee is $40.  The main test dates for this year have passed.  We would schedule individual testing with an applicant once the Application for Admission has been received.

Partial academic scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who score exceptionally well on the November or December  High School Placement Tests and have excellent grades.  Students who take the February or March HSPT can be considered for the Archdiocese of Detroit need-based tuition assistance grants.

Step #4: Student Interview

Once we receive the Application for Admission, the students and parent(s) will meet with our Director of Admissions and/or one of our administrators.  Interviews are usually held after school.

Acceptance

  • Students who tested in November or December were mailed their admission letter on Friday, January 27.
  • Students who tested in February were mailed their admission letter on Wednesday, February 22.
  • Students who test on March 4 and have their application and transcripts on file by Friday, March 17 will be sent their letter on Friday, March 24.

While students of all faiths are welcome to apply, we give preference to Catholic students for openings.  Students who are offered accepted for admission complete a registration form and pay an enrollment deposit three weeks after acceptance.
