Here are our key admission dates if you are in 8th grade:

Now through December 12: Falcon For A Day shadow visits
Now through October 25: Catholic High School Information Nights
Thursday, October 26: 8th Grade Discovery Day, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Sunday, November 5: Fall Open House, 1 – 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, November 16: Registration deadline for November 18 HSPT
Saturday, November 18: High School Placement Test (HSPT), 8 a.m.
Thursday, November 30: Registration deadline for December 2 HSPT
Saturday, December 2: High School Placement Test (HSPT) make-up, 8 a.m.
Friday, December 15: Online admission applications due
January 8 – May 15: Falcon For A Day shadow visits
Friday, January 26: Admission decision letters/scholarship awards mailed
Sunday, January 28: Winter Open House, 1 – 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, February 22: Online registration forms/registration fee due
Wednesday, March 14: Class of 2022 Welcome, 7 p.m.
Saturday, March 24: Course Selection Saturday, 8 a.m. – noon
Friday, April 6: Financial aid applications due

Current freshmen and sophomores:

We like to meet with potential transfer students and parents prior to starting the application process.  These meetings are scheduled after school.  Please call Matt Saxer, Director of Admissions, at 313-216-0891 x268 to schedule a meeting or to ask questions regarding the transfer student application process.

  • If you are interested in entering Divine Child as a second semester freshman or sophomore in early January, we will consider applications between November 1 and December 15. We would require a copy of last year’s report card and this year’s first quarter report card as part of our review.
  • If you are interested in entering Divine Child as a sophomore or junior for the 2018-2019 school year, we will consider applications after February 1.  We would require a copy of last year’s report card and this year’s latest report card as part of our review.
